Pass-o-meter

This is a tool for measuring password strength. When running the first time, the program should prompt you to test your computer's performance. To check the quality of a password:

  • Select document type
  • Enter the password in the corresponding field.
  • Select PC type. 'This computer (GPU)' corresponds to your PC search speed using GPU.
  • Click the 'Adjust' button to start benchmarks.

After you set a test password, 'Password quality' group at the bottom should display the strength of the password, as well as the time required to break it using the selected hardware.
