NTLM wordlist

Hey guys,

I'm a registered user and have a question regarding your wordlist tools. I need to create a NTLM specific wordlist out of a regular one. How can I do it?

RE: NTLM wordlist

No need to bother with it. The program should convert all incoming word automatically when running a LM-based attack. Just set up the wordlist you need, all words will be divided into 7-character chunks, upper-cased, etc.

RE: NTLM wordlist

Hmm. It's a little bit tricky, since there's no rule for getting all 7-character passwords out of an incoming word. So you will have to do it in several steps, like this:
- Open Utils - Word-list tools - Additional operations and show the path to your input (regular) wordlist.
- Select 'Set custom filter...' option and type in the following rule: x07u
- Click 'Next' button. So you will extract all words with legths 1 - 7, starting with character 1.
- Now type in the next x77u  and create a second wordlist. This will extract 1-7 character words starting with character 8.
- Repeat again for xE7u , xL7u, xS7u, etc. rules.
- Now you should get several NTLM-specific dictionaries. Just use Utils - Wordlist tools - Merge wordlist menu to remove duplicates, sort and combine them into one output wordlist.
