"AD Read Error"

"AD Read Error"  

Everytime I try to access AD it gives me "AD Read Error"  No error number, just that message.  I'm trying to reset my Server 2008 R2 password.  Any ideas?

The error often pops up if the database is corrupted. You should probably try to repair the database using built-in ntdsutil. But first check RWP version. Previous one has problems parsing Win 2008 R2 AD database.
